Woke up and packed up and left the campground by 7:15am.
23.59 miles later we were in Old Station. Or at least one part of Old Station, the town is spread out along a few miles of highway 89.
The trail today was relatively flat, which led to decent hiking speed and the most miles that I've done in a day so far.
Much of the day was spent in a huge burnt area, much of the burn was inside Lassen Volcanic National Park. Had some good views of Lassen peak, there is still quite a bit of snow on the high slopes of the mountain.

2021 Update:
Woke up and packed up and left the campground by 7:15am. Somehow getting better at this morning thing.

You are doing some consistent 20 mile hikes this past week! Hope the weather will be kind for the remainder of the trail.
