Started the day in Old Station and headed up along a small canyon to a ridge called Hat Creek Rim, which is a exposed waterless stretch of trail.
Had great views of both Mount Lassen, which we have passed and Mount Shasta, which we are headed toward, and will pass to the west of in the next couple weeks.

2021 Update:
Started the day in Old Station and headed up along a small canyon to a ridge called Hat Creek Rim, which is an exposed waterless stretch of trail.
Along the way we passed by Subway Cave, a lava tube that would be neat to explore, but we had mile to make today, so onward it was.
Had great views of both Mount Lassen, which we have passed and Mount Shasta, which we are headed toward, and will pass to the west of in the next couple weeks.

Destination today was Cache 22, a water cache cleverly named at some point in the past. The cache is at the point where the PCT intersects with Forestry Road 22.
