Campsite above Lake Janus to Lake Sally Ann

Lake Sally Ann, mile 2491

Wet tent this morning, and not enough sun anytime during the day to dry it.

It wasn't raining in the morning when I got up, but for most of the day there were light rain showers. Had a few minutes at lunch where the sun tried to come out and there was a spot of blue sky, but rain resumed.

More ups and downs today, some great scenery, but somewhat difficult to appreciate while trying not to slip in the muddy trail.

Amazingly there are still lots of huckleberries around. Leaves may be falling off the bushes, but the berries are hanging on.

Camping near a small alpine lake, listening to rain falling on my tent.
