North Crater Trailhead to Campsite by Six Horse Spring Trail

Woke up to cold once again. Water droplets on the inside of my tent were frozen solid. At least that made it easy to get rid of them, just hit the tent fabric and the bits of ice flew off.

Hiked past the Oregon and Washington PCT high point, the highest that the PCT goes in Oregon and Washington. Of course, when I took the Crater Lake rim trail, that went higher. Pretty amazing that for the rest of the trail it never gets back over 7600 feet in elevation.

Another night of sleeping with my water filter. Can't let our water filters freeze, or the water left in them will crack the membranes that do the filtering and keep unhealthy stuff out of out drinking water.
